Sixel Assists Great Falls International Airport Win Seasonal Chicago Service

Project Description

After Sixel assisted Great Falls International Airport win a Small Community Air Service Development (SCASD) grant in 2015, we worked quickly to convert the grant funding into new, twice-weekly Summer 2016 service from Great Falls to Chicago with a minimum revenue guarantee. While achieving air service development goals can be a years-long process, we were able to translate Great Falls’ grant funding to 132 additional seats per week—in each direction—in less than 10 months. With the new service, United’s capacity will increase 15.4 percent in Summer 2016 versus Summer 2015, and we’re happy to report United is quite satisfied with the performance of the new service!
